Students will open their assignment list each morning. As they read, write, think, and pursue deeper understanding of the world around them, they will receive teacher feedback, opportunities to discuss content with peers and instructors, and individualized help as needed.
Rick Aston
The Book Hooks Schoolhouse and Mrs. Aston have been an answer to prayer. My daughter could not navigate the public school setting in middle school and was struggling academically, socially and emotionally. Since attending Book Hooks she has blossomed in all of these areas! I honestly do not know where we would be without this program. Mrs. Aston is fully invested in each child and my daughter's personal investment in school is one example of her devotion.

The Book Hooks Schoolhouse has ignited a passion for learning in my children transforming their academic success and personal growth. One of my children, who struggles with reading, is now growing and gaining skills every week! My reluctant student now completes work without resistance. The personalized attention and tailored lessons have been a true blessing. I'm overjoyed to enroll my third child next year!

The Book Hooks Schoolhouse is exactly what our homeschooling family needed. It's all the perks of homeschooling kids while also having other teachers guide, care for, and love your children right along with you. My sons were and are so grateful for the chance to go to school two days a week with friends and I am so grateful to not have the entire load of schooling them on my shoulders. Lara provides lessons for the home days which has been exactly what I need as a busy homeschooling mom to four.

My student was one of the original students at Book Hooks Schoolhouse. I searched for a program where he would be safe as well as encouraged in his academic journey and Book Hooks is that place. His growth, both academically and socially, has far exceeded where we though he would be. He enjoys the time he spends there and is proud of his accomplishments. The teachers do an excellent job of working with each student at their own level, making sure each of them feels successful.

I am extremely blessed to have found Book Hooks for my granddaughter. She came from a good school, but Book Hooks is an excellent place for her to learn new skills and grow into the person she is meant to be.
-grandparent of a 6th grader
I have 2 daughters attending Book Hooks, ages 14 and 11. This is our second year and we intend to remain throughout their educational journey. The hands on education is far superior to anything I have seen with public and private schools. I love that the teachers meet the students at their level in each subject. Tailor each subject and lesson to each child and work with the parents and children to meet specific goals.
