We believe God created all children in His image with unique interests and gifts for His plan and purpose. We personalize instruction and develop those gifts with active learning and projects on Schoolhouse days, and individualized assignments for days at home. Your student will build friendships and become a vital part of a learning community.
We walk alongside you with insight, strategies, and support as you build your family relationships and culture. We partner with you to create a plan with goals for your unique child. We then guide you through the implementation of assignments on at-home days.
Our homeschooled students thrive in a project-based, literature-rich, and personalized environment for on-site days and with individualized assignments on at home days.
After studying wind power at home and at school, students made hovercraft projects to watch wind power in action!
The Book Hooks Schoolhouse has met our family’s expectations perfectly. This year, our child, who was resistant to school, has become cooperative and diligently completes assignments through the excellent Spark Your School portal. Mrs. Aston's commitment to tailoring learning experiences to each child’s needs is unparalleled.

This is a wonderful microschool. My son has really blossomed with Mrs. Aston. I can't recommend her enough.

The Book Hooks Schoolhouse and Mrs. Aston have been an answer to prayer. My daughter could not navigate the public school setting in middle school and was struggling academically, socially and emotionally. Since attending Book Hooks she has blossomed in all of these areas! I honestly do not know where we would be without this program. Mrs. Aston is fully invested in each child and my daughter's personal investment in school is one example of her devotion.
